Description

Classified M1, the 530g/m² 10x15 m tarpaulin is a so-called non-flammable and hardly combustible material, according to the national fire resistance classification. Thus, it limits the emission of toxic gases.

THE M1 FIREPROOF COVER MADE IN FRANCE


Recommended by professionals on large construction sites, this white M1 tarpaulin with a weight of 530g/m² is made of polyester fiber with a flame-retardant PVC coating on both sides.


This gives it great qualities, such as lightness and flexibility, allowing use in all configurations and great maneuverability. It also has good resistance to breaking and tearing.

WHY CHOOSE A FIREPROOF TARP?


The tarpaulin has undergone a series of tests in order to be approved “M1” by the National Test Laboratory.

  • Some large construction sites, particularly in places open to the public, require the use of fireproof equipment.
  • The anti-fire treatment limits the greenhouse effect under the tarpaulin, created by the sun's rays and offers real thermal comfort. The feeling of heat is reduced by dropping a few degrees.
  • As an individual, you may be required by your insurance to choose a fireproof tarpaulin.
  • In certain conditions, many standards are required and in the event of a claim, your insurer could require that the tarpaulin used complies with fire standards.


In France there is a classification (Standard NF P. 92. 507), composed of 5 categories, which defines the reaction to fire of materials: it goes from M0 (non-flammable) to M4 (easily flammable).
